For driving component video lines, the ZXFV203 triple channel video amplifier from Zetex is characterised for loads of up to 400pF.

For driving component video lines, the ZXFV203 triple channel video amplifier from Zetex is characterised for loads of up to 400pF.

Maintaining an output of 3V at a 40mA load current, the chip is capable of driving multiple video lines.

A high performance current feedback device, the ZXFV203 provides a unity gain bandwidth of 300MHz and a slew rate of 400V/us.

Its low differential gain of 0.01% and differential phase of 0.01 degrees ensures the integrity of colour saturation and hue.

Operating from +/-5V supplies the amplifier is presented in a 14-pin SO package with a pinout similar to that of a quad op amp with one channel omitted.

Handling RGB, RGsB and YPbPr component video, the ZXFV203 suits a wide range of applications including video buffering, line driving, routing and switching.

The triple channel amplifier is the latest device to be added to the growing range of Zetex video signal management products that includes current and voltage feedback amplifiers, sync separators, DC restoration amplifiers and multiplexers.
