Lin takes charge of Asia

Zetex Semiconductors has appointed Stephen Lin as Vice President Asia.

Zetex Semiconductors has appointed Stephen Lin as Vice President Asia.

Based at the company's Hong Kong office, Lin will be responsible for growth plans throughout the region, which currently accounts for more than half of Zetex worldwide sales.

Lin brings to Zetex more than 24 years of industry experience.

Previously VP and General Manager at mixed signal and analogue company Legerity, he has held senior management positions with AudioCodes, Intel/Dialogic and Siemens.

In the 1980s Lin was ASIC Business Development and Design Manager for LSI Logic.

Lin commented: "Zetex has established a very strong sales and field applications organisation in Asia and I am looking forward to leading a really talented and dedicated team of people".

"It is also an honour to join the Zetex executive team and play a direct role in helping Zetex win new design-ins and meet its growth objectives in key Asian markets".

Frank Marx, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Zetex Semiconductors added: "Stephen is a tremendous asset to have on board and brings a wealth of experience of sales, marketing and engineering management in consumer electronic and voice and data communications sectors".
