Published by the International Standards Organisation, ISO14001 specifies the requirements for an organisation's environmental management systems.
It applies to all those environmental aspects of the operation over which an organisation has control and is expected to have an influence.
The standard has been embraced worldwide as the preferred model for environmental management.
Ken Clithero, Quality Manager at Zetex Semiconductors commented: "Certification to the ISO14001 standard recognises that everyone at Zetex is fully committed to protecting the environment".
