The New Pig Rally is one of the most challenging rally series' in the British Isles.
The Zilog rally car, which is a Subaru Impreza, can go from 0 to 100km/h in 5s (on gravel) and can achieve a top speed of around 210km/h.
The nine-race rally championship includes eight races on gravel roads and one on paved public roads that will be closed for the race.
The series, which began in Inverness in February, includes races in Jedburgh, Aberdeen, Dunoon, Dumfries, Edinburgh, Perth, Elgin and Newton Stewart.
The entire championship is televised and is slated to be is transmitted both by Scottish television and the BSkyB satellite network to an estimated 300,000 people.
