Spectrum to expand European MCU support

The second product in the high-performance eZ80 MPU family is the eZ80 Webserver-i which enables cost-effective, direct connections to networks and the Internet with embedded TCP/IP and IrDA software.
Together with its tactical marketing capabilities, these qualities will greatly aid in the growth of Zilog's new Flash-based products in Europe".
Zilog's newly introduced Z8 Encore! and eZ80Acclaim! 8bit microcontrollers provide OEMs with industry leading performance coupled with the flexibility and time-to-market advantages of working with the familiar Z8 and Z80 architectures: "The new product families are the cornerstone of Zilog's strategy of delivering innovative, customer-driven, embedded control solutions to customers", said Wardrop.
