Antonopoulos has worldwide responsibility

Nick Antonopoulos is the new Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Zilog.

Zilog has strengthened its worldwide sales team, naming Nick Antonopoulos Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales.

Antonopoulos brings 20 plus years of technology and consumer experience to the position, including major successes at tier one accounts worldwide.

He will spearhead efforts to proliferate the growing Zilog product portfolio, especially its application specific standard products (ASSP).

Here, Zilog is successfully providing customers a wide array of Flash MCUs, universal remote control and ARM based products that focus on ASSP solutions that dominate targeted vertical markets.

Antonopoulos has proven experience and a successful track record and he will bring valuable experience to the penetration of new customers and markets and the expansion of customer relationships in Asia, China, Europe and the USA.

Antonopoulos has more than 20 years of PC, consumer, convergence and technology partnership experience working with small and large sise corporations worldwide.

Prior to joining Zilog he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at OnSpec Electronics where he successfully transitioned that company from a systems company to a Flash memory system-on-chip (SoC) provider.

He has impressive tier one account credentials, having closed deals with market leaders in China, Japan, the EU and the USA.

Antonopoulos has expanded the customer base and markets in his previous management positions at OnSpec Electronics, HelloBrain.com and National Semiconductor where he was Vice President of Information and Appliance Business Development.
