The second product in the high-performance eZ80 MPU family is the eZ80 Webserver-i which enables cost-effective, direct connections to networks and the Internet with embedded TCP/IP and IrDA software.

Zilog's new high-performance eZ80Acclaim! 8bit microcontroller family features up to 256Kbyte of reprogrammable Flash memory, Ethernet MAC and TCP/IP protocols and a complete design kit.
Zilog's solution targets a wide range of applications that include set-top boxes, satellite and cable receivers, IPTV, DVD recorders, media centre hubs, quick turn universal remote devices and PDAs, as well as toys, cellphones and secure monitoring systems where hundreds of millions of products are sold and shipped each year.

The Crimzon RC Blaster UIRSoC System comes with a wide array of features and options that include: a North American UIR database coverage that includes TV, VCR/DVD player, audio devices, cable and satellite set-top boxes (STBs); a European UIR database coverage on cable and satellite set-top boxes; comprehensive key coverage for each device; 9600/1200baud two-way, full-duplex UART (with an option of one way only); up to 64Kbyte of memory; up to 10Kbit/s software I2C; an integrated IR learning function that includes a built in IR amplifier with learning distance 0 to 200mm with only an external IR photodiode required; four user-controlled general-purpose input/output pins; support for Zilog script format and full upgradeability with external EEPROM; and a low standby power drain - typically 2uA.
Development tool support for the new Crimzon RC Blaster UIRSoC includes a reference design evaluation board and a full set of support documentation.
Each evaluation board comes complete with an installation CD that includes PC test suite software (supports all commands through RS232 or I2C), documentation (user manual, reference manual, quick start guide, cross ref, product brief, product specification etc), and a 9-pin RS232 interface cable.
The tool kit includes a USB-to-serial adapter cable.
PC system requirement supports RS232 or USB and XP operating systems.
