Piezo inverter powers backlights
A direct side multiple lamp piezo inverter combines nonflammable ceramic material with a protection circuit to eliminate the risk of smoking or burning.
Piezo inverter manufacturer Zippy Technology Corp has developed a direct side multiple lamp piezo inverter that combines nonflammable ceramic material with a protection circuit to eliminate the risk of smoking or burning This new generation inverter is EMI free - the energy is transmitted by supersonic vibrations that do not generate EMI
It is also safer - the nonflammable ceramic material combines an arc protection circuit, and will not cause any smoking or burning.
As it generates a perfect sinewave, the transformer efficiency is over 95%, and inverter efficiency is better than 88%.
It provides uniform luminance to each lamp for direct backlighting, and the uniformity is maintained over a full 0-100% dimming range.
