Zuken has joined the Synopsys HSPICE Integrator Program to advance its high-speed design flow and increase capabilities for simulation of highly complex electronics circuits.
System Designer offers significant design-flow enhancements including easier and more productive handling of design variants.
As the tool differentiates between sheet frame symbols and other non-electrical figures, it is possible to add user-dependent frame symbols and system attributes which can hold variant-dependent information.
These are automatically filed.
In addition, System Designer features the ability to move symbols while maintaining connections together with the option to rotate groups and symbols while maintaining all design properties.
Text remains readable when symbols are rotated from 0 to 90 degrees.
Netlist generation is 100% accurate.
The migration automatically maintains both electrical functionality and visual representation of designs.
Using a mapping file it is possible to migrate both flat and hierarchical designs from any ViewDraw file with no theoretical upper limit to the number of pages or hierarchical levels.
Information from the original files can be reused because the ViewDraw attributes can be mapped against System Designer attributes.
Where ViewDraw users have created SQL-based libraries with Informix, it is not necessary to migrate the library as it can be read directly in System Designer.
In other circumstances the schematic library is migrated from ViewDraw.
The migration runs in batch mode, allowing automatic procedures to be used to convert both current and archived designs. Request a free brochure from Zuken ...
