Footprint data puts TI DSPs onboard
Users of Zuken's CR-5000 PCB design suite can now download free footprint data to support the broad range of digital signal processors from Texas Instruments.
Simplifying printed circuit board (PCB) design, Zuken is offering free footprint data to support the broad range of digital signal processors from Texas Instruments.
Users of the enterprise-wide robust and scalable PCB design solution, CR-5000, can now download this data from LinkZ, Zuken's customer support.
Zuken makes continual efforts to keep pace with the latest onboard technology and facilitate the adoption within its broad customer base.
The rapid increase in popularity of DSPs will result in a growing number of PCBs featuring this type of chip.
By preparing footprint data for many of the latest DSPs from TI as free download design kits, Zuken is helping users to save time while ensuring consistently high levels of design quality.
"Working with third party vendors like TI is critical for solutions providers like Zuken".
"We pride ourselves on offering leading-edge design technology and architectures that help our customers gain and maintain innovation leadership".
"Aiding our users in the adoption of the latest technology is a commitment that we take very seriously", said Werner Rissiek, General Manager Engineering, Europe, Zuken.
CR-5000 is Zuken's scalable and robust PCB and advanced packaging layout suite created for the small to large enterprise market.
It incorporates the latest technology with a "design for manufacturability" methodology, which enables rules applied early in the design process to be maintained right through to manufacturing, ensuring products are right first time and manufacturable first time.
In addition to its Japanese headquarters, Zuken's European and American operations have recently joined the TI DSP Third Party Network.
As a member of the TI's Third Party Network, Zuken will be able to provide CR-5000 users with many more free design kits supporting this technology in the future.
"As a member of the TI DSP Third Party Network, Zuken provides support for TI's TMS320C2000, TMS320C5000, TMS320C6000 DSP platforms, as well as the latest DaVinci technology based devices", said Rich Faust, Third Party Marketing Manager, TI.
"We are pleased that Zuken is broadening its participation in the Third Party Network to further extend its services to our global base of customers".
Free downloads are available for Zuken customers with an active maintenance contract from the Zuken Customer Support website.
