The Wireless Congress 2005: Systems and Applications will be held in Munich on 9th and 10th November 2005.

This is the second such event organised by ZVEI - the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association - and participants will benefit from a comprehensive overview of all relevant current and future wireless technologies and applications.

From more than 90 submitted papers, the congress programme committee selected 40 speakers.

The programme covers a full range of wireless technologies, including topics such as WLAN, mobile radio, Bluetooth, ZigBee, sensor and automation networks, M2M, RFID, NFC, WiMAX, UWB and 3G/4G.

With its network of partners like Elektronik magazine, the organisers of Electronica, iSuppli and the VDE Information Technology Society and the congress programme committee comprising experts from industry and research institutions, the congress agenda is strongly aligned with the future industry needs.

The congress features two invited speakers: Prof Joe Paradiso from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Dale Fold, Vice President at iSuppli.

Their keynotes allow insights into both a visionary view on the future "wireless life", as well as a critical assessment of the competing technologies from a market perspective.

The Wireless Congress 2005 will unite international experts in Munich.

Last year, the inaugural congress attracted over 300 participants, both delegates and speakers, from more than 20 countries.

More information about this year's event can be found on the congress website: www.wireless-congress.com.
