Display distributor touches the UK market

Zytronic has appointed Display Technology to distribute its entire product portfolio to UK customers in industrial, professional and medical markets.

Zytronic has appointed Display Technology to distribute its projected capacitive technology (PCT)-based touch sensors.

Under the terms of the distribution agreement, Display Technology will offer Zytronic's entire product portfolio backed up by comprehensive local sales and technical support to UK customers in the industrial, professional and medical markets.

Display Technology develops, produces and markets solutions for the use of flat panel displays and provides expert advice for companies developing display-based solutions.

The company produces its own system solutions and offers product enhancements for TFT displays.

A team of readily available, experienced engineers offer customers support with the integration of displays in their applications and customers also benefit from after-sales and technical support services.

Discussing the agreement, Mark Cambridge, Zytronic's Managing Director says: "Display Technology combines established expertise with proven distribution and sales of display systems, and the new agreement will play a key role in helping us address the rapidly growing UK touchscreen market".

"Customers throughout the UK will really benefit from the easy access to local support and services that Display Technology offers".

Display Technology will also offer Zytronic's range of noninteractive products which includes electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) shielded optical filter and window technologies.

These are suitable for use in a wide range of environments and applications, including navigational and medical equipment, information displays, secure areas and military displays.
