?Carrier Grade Linux?
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release Linear introduces H-grade switching regulator from Linear Technology, which we summarised at the time by saying "Linear Technology has announced a H-grade step-down switching regulator for load dump and cold-crank conditions commonly found in automotive applications as well as 24V industrial supplies.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Low-power network platform for harsh environments from Axiomtek: "Axiomtek has announced the NA-320FL, a fanless 1U compact network appliance platform with 6GB LANs that supports the low-power Intel Atom processors D510 1.66GHz with Intel ICH8M PCH chipset.".
In December 2010, we covered the news from Linear Technology - take a look at Compact linear regulator with thermal resistance which says: "Linear Technology has produced a wider-temperature-range version of the LT3010, a high-voltage, micropower linear regulator for avionics, military, industrial, automotive, RF and telecom applications.".
Take a look also at the news release from Kontron, System host board for energy and medical sectors, as well as Sensor IC withstands harsh automotive environments from Allegro Microsystems, and FPGA-based frame grabbers for image acquisition from Stemmer Imaging.
