?Embedded Ethernet?

An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release TMPM36x microcontrollers for embedded applications from Toshiba Electronics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Toshiba Electronics Europe has expanded its range of high-performance 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 microcontrollers with devices for embedded applications such as office equipment and industrial control.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Sencity Link bridges now available in the UK from Huber and Suhner: "Huber and Suhner has brought its Sencity Link SL60 wireless Ethernet bridge technology - ideal for use in towns and city centres, conservation areas or near to listed buildings - to the UK.".

In February 2011, we covered the news from Tyco Electronics - take a look at Connecters offer high density power in netbook PCs which says: "Tyco Electronics (TE) has introduced the LCD Coaxial Embedded Display Interface (LCEDI) range of connectors, for panel/main board interconnection such as in notebook and tablet personal computers.".

Take a look also at the news release from Globtek, Lithium Ion and Lithium Polymer battery chargers, as well as ATCA platforms support all-IP networks from Kontron, and Fanless vehicle computer suits rugged environments from Acrosser.
