Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Evaluation and prototyping kit for Kinetis MCUs from IAR Systems: "IAR Systems has released an IAR Kickstart kit for Freescale Semiconductor's ARM Cortex-M4-based Kinetis microcontrollers (MCUs) that are compatible with the Freescale Tower System development system.".
In February 2011, we covered the news from Summit Microelectronics - take a look at DC-DC powers advanced multi-rail digital chipsets which says: "Summit's SMB109 programmable DC-DC is ideal for powering advanced multi-rail digital chipsets in a range of communications, computing and consumer applications.".
